70% of the planet is embraced by the ocean. It gives us so much life, from the air we breathe, to the pure joy it immerses us in. The ocean is our playground.
To us, it’s home.
In the last 40 years, half of all marine life has been lost. By 2050 it is projected that there will be more plastic in the sea than fish.
These facts not only crush our souls but awakens a deep fire in us to be a part of the wave of change. To re-write the future for our divine ocean.
This is why we are committed to creating beautiful wetsuits that have the earth in mind. In every decision we make we are conscious of our environmental impact and we make each decision with respect and love for our playground.
We create limited edition wetsuits that are eco-conscious. We only use ethically sourced limestone based neoprene, while using recycled PET bottles to create a new material for our linings; and use accredited fabric dyeing processes to reduce our water wastage by up to 80% over standard textile dyeing techniques.
As we care for our planet, we cannot forget about the hands that bring our suits to life. Hand crafted in Australia, our passionate team put the human touch back into the craftmanship of ocean-sport wear, from printing your suit, to hand cutting them, to sewing the finishing touches. The magic that our team creates is truly spectacular.
The ocean has given us so much, now it’s our turn to give back to it.
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has” -Margaret Mead
As a designer, my world is a colourful one! I design mostly from colour psychology, and play with shades of colours and colour combinations until they evoke a certain emotion inside of me, and then I know that's the one!
You’ll always notice there is often a lot of pinks, reds, yellows, and oranges used in my collections. Pink touches our femininity, giving us feelings that soothe us with love, nurture and physical tranquility. Red has the longest wavelength, making it one of the most powerful colours, as it evokes feelings of strength, warmth and energy. Yellow is like the sunshine, it lifts our spirits leaving us filled with optimism, confidence and feeling bubbly! Orange, the combination of yellow and red, is a fun one, it gives feelings of passion, abundance and warmth.
Colour psychology is all about the perfect balance, too much of one colour or used in the wrong tone, or in the wrong colour scheme , and it can evoke emotions of negative connotations. I design collections using colours and combinations that give us feelings of the invincible summer, so that one look at our suits evokes feelings of joy, happiness, playfulness, and an abundance of energy.
